How to do a lash lift (written instructions)Updated 25 days ago

‼ Always do a patch test 24 hours prior to using the kit

Step 1: Apply double-sided skin-friendly tape to the eyelid: Grab your double-sided skin-friendly tape and peel off the white paper. One side of this paper comes off very easily; the other side is a bit harder to peel off. Both sides need to be taken off so you have fully transparent tape left. You place this on your eyelid close to the lash line and carefully press down the corners.

Top tip - If you have a bigger shield, use 2 tapes next to each other for better adhesion.

Step 2: Apply the shield onto the tape

Step 3: Next apply the shield to the tape and press down the corner to make it stick well.

Step 4: Stick lashes on lash lift shield with step 1 stick it: Now take your Stick it and your Y-brush to make your lashes stick onto the lash lift shield. Do this part by part and do NOT apply glue to the whole lashes, otherwise the glue will already be dry before you can attach all the lashes to the lash lift shield.

When adhering the lashes to the pad, it's crucial to take your time. To create the optimal lift, it's critical to brush your lashes up straight. Avoid brushing them slightly to the side, as this will lessen the lift.

Ensure all lashes are straight on the pad for the maximum effect. Use the back of the applicator stick to firmly press the lashes onto the shield, and HOLD IT for at least 30 seconds (please refer to our video tutorial for further guidance). It's vital to ensure the entire lash is glued, not just the bottom part. Otherwise, the lashes may start to detach when applying step 2. Ensure the entire lash, including the top part, is securely adhered to the pad. After applying the glue, allow it to fully dry before proceeding to steps 2 and 3.

Step 5: Apply step 2 Shape it: Next you are going to apply the shape it to the bottom part of the lashes towards the middle. Make sure you only apply it to the base and not all the way to the top. Your lashes are fragile, and we do not want to overprocess the hairs or make them overcurled, and that's what could happen when you apply the Shape it over the whole lash.

Step 6: Once you've applied the solution, you put the plastic film over the eyelash.

Important to note: NO solution should be touching your eyes or your skin, just the silicone shield.

Step 7: Wait for the recommended time

  • Fine lashes - 6 minutes
  • Normal lashes - 7 minutes
  • Thick lashes - 8 minutes

After the timer goes off, you remove the cling film.

Step 8: Remove the excess residue: Now you remove the excess residue only in an upward motion.

Step 9: Next apply step 3 Fix it: Apply the fix it to the base of the lashes and bring the solution towards the middle. Make sure you don't apply it all the way to the tips to prevent over-processing or an over-curled lash.

Important to note: NO solution should be touching your eyes or your skin, just the silicone shield.

Step 10: Wait for the recommended time

  • Fine lashes - 6 minutes
  • Normal lashes - 7 minutes
  • Thick lashes - 8 minutes

After the timer goes off, you remove the cling film.

Step 11: Clean your lashes with Step 4. Clean it. Next, you apply step 4 Clean it and you are going to clean the lashes. First, you remove the cling film from the lashes, and then you remove all residue from the lashes with the cotton bud. Make sure all eyes are detached from the pad before taking the pad off.

Then dip your mascara wand into the clean it and remove the excess on a pad. Then brush through your lashes.

To note: It's VERY important to clean the lashes extremely well because if they are not cleaned enough, they could still process, and you will get overprocessed lashes. Make sure there is no residue left.

Step 12: Apply Step 5 Boost it: Apply the step 5 boost it serum to your lashes with the mascara wand.

You can leave this step onto your lashes.

Voila! You have gorgeous lashes! 😍
